“Da Nang if you do, Da Nang if you don’t”

This is the next Bali and you’ll just have to check it out yourself and see what we mean.

Stunning beaches, scenic mountains, religious relics and a wealth of eateries and bars. Move aside Bali, while we discover this next hype.

1. The Beach – My Khe Beach
The main and most popular beach is the most beautiful and cleanest. At the end of the beach are also beautiful structures such as the Linh Ung Pagoda and the Monkey Mountain. Without them, the beach is already splendid on its own and it is surrounded by restaurants offering fresh seafood and cold beers. Water sports such as parasailing and jet-skiing are also available.
Location: Bãi biển Mỹ Khê, Da Nang, Vietnam
2. Linh Ung Pagoda
Another sight at the far end of the beach is a stunning 67-metre tall Lady Buddha looking out over Da Nang Bay. Lady Buddha provides protection to fishermen and grants them safety. The pagoda itself is also magnificent, being the largest in Da Nang.
Location: In the upper area of Buddha stream, Son Tra Peninsula, Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District
3. Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary
Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the hosts the abandoned ruins of Vietnam’s ancient Champa civilization that once occupied southern Vietnam. It has intricate carvings of various Hindu gods that may require a tour guide for you to decipher. Most of it was destroyed in a carpet-bombing campaign by the Americans during the war and there are large bomb craters still visible!
Location: Duy Phú, Duy Xuyên District, Da Nang, Vietnam

4. Golden Bridge
This recent debut is an architectural marvel that features two giant stone hands cradling a strand of gold. Get up to 4,600 feet above sea level and into Bà Nà Hills to witness panoramic views of the valley below. The Trường Sơn mountains set the backdrop to this majestic work of art.
Location: Ba Na Hills, Hòa Phú, Hòa Vang Danang, Vietnam
5. Ba Na Hills Sunworld
Bring your kiddos to a quirky combination of east and west: old European city complete with castles, cobblestone streets and beautiful courtyards, scattered with Buddhist statues and temples built for entertainment only, of course. Visitors ride the world’s longest cable car lift to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the valley below. A good place for family fun.
Location: Tuyến cáp Treo lên Bà Nà Hills, Hoà Ninh, Hòa Vang, Da Nang, Vietnam
